Celebrating 60 years in 2014!  The Saklan School is a Pre-K through 8th grade independent school.  Saklan students are challenged to think creatively, act compassionately, and live courageously.  Since 1954 we have provided a well-rounded education with small class sizes.  Foreign Language, Music, Science, Physical Education and Art classes are taught at every grade level, Pre-K through 8th. What’s more, public speaking, leadership skills, experiential learning and teamwork are integrated into our curriculum.  Van transportation is available.

The Saklan School is accredited by the NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) and is affiliated with CAIS (California Association of Independent Schools) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).  The Saklan School is also a member of EBISA (East Bay Independent Schools Association).  David O’Connell Head Master
