The New Rheem Theatre has been chosen as the #1, out of 27, Indie Cinemas in the Bay Area two years in a row. One of the reasons is the Classic Film Hall of Fame and Museum displays film memorabilia from many decades of film. The Hall of Fame is drawing folks from all over the area and beyond to see the Hollywood treasures.
The Rheem Theatre is dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of Moraga and the Lamorinda area by championing blockbuster movies, independent films and other media arts along with one of a kind special events. Check out the Classic Film Hall of Fame in the lobby and hallways with memorabilia from actors like Mikey Rooney and Boris Karloff along with many more. IMPORTANT There are excellent quality headphones for hearing impaired. Folks with extensive hearing difficulties have tried them, and say they work very well. They are available at the concession stand.
