SCORE is a national 11,000 person volunteer organization made up of both retired and working men and women. The local Oakland chapter has about 50 active counselors/mentors from various business disciplines. Currently members come from construction, franchises, Silicon Valley startups, the law, accounting, retail, banking, manufacturing, engineering, advertising and more.

Our counseling is done around the East Bay at most of the Chambers of Commerce. In this area we counsel in Lafayette and Walnut Creek or by arrangement here in Moraga. Appointments may be made by calling the WC or Lafayette Chambers as well as our Oakland office.

If a specialist is required and can’t be found locally free email assistance is available from some 600 counselors at www.score.org.

Workshops cover a series of business related startup and operating topics plus several shops on the use of social media. Some industry specific shops are also provided.
