Frank Melon
President

Frank is a Certified Club Manager and a Certified Community Association Manager with 30 years of experience in the homeowner and the hospitality- country club field. He is past President of the Club Managers Association of America Roadrunner Chapter. Frank has hosted the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf tournament at Bermuda Dunes Country Club and performed successful transitions from the developer to the membership for two premier communities in Rancho Santa Fe, The Fairbanks Ranch Association and Santaluz. Edy Schwartz
Immediate Past President

Edy was elected President of the Moraga Chamber of Commerce in January of 2008.  She helped with the revitalization of the Chamber and was instrumental in creating the Shop Moraga First Campaign.  Edy gained business experience when she and her husband bought Sam Clar Office Furniture in 1973.  She was involved in the decision making and management of the company until it was sold in 1996.

Kevin Reneau
Vice President 

Kevin is the owner and President of Senior Helpers, which provides insured and bonded caregivers to help local seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes.   He founded the first Senior Helpers in the S.F. Bay area here in Moraga in 2007 and oversees a staff of over 100 with annual revenues over $1 million.  He has served as the President of the West Regional Franchise Advisory Council for Senior Helpers.  Kevin previously spent 25 years working as a senior athletic administrator at UC-Berkeley, supervising the communications and marketing areas for the intercollegiate athletic department.  He is on the Board of Directors of the Moraga Rotary Club.  He and his wife Pam reside in Moraga with a daughter attending Campolindo HS and a son attending Joaquin Moraga Middle School.

Wendy Scheck
Treasurer

Wendy is an entrepreneur by nature and experience.  Within a few years after graduating from UC Berkeley, she started her first company  with a partner in San Jose, California.   The business grew to $20 million in sales revenue before she left to join another Electronics firm as VP sales and Marketing.   After meeting and marrying Andy Scheck, the two of them started the local paper Lamorinda Weekly in 2007.  They live in Moraga and have one daughter at Campolindo.  Wendy has been on the Moraga Chamber Board since 2008.

Jason has an extensive portfolio of real estate expertise including nationwide experience within a diverse group of properties. Jason achieved his vast residential real estate knowledge and experience by purchasing, selling, remodeling, expanding and selecting sites. He inherited his passion for homes and real estate sales from his father's custom home, multifamily development and construction company.
Although Jason specializes in residential home sales at Coldwell Banker, his past experience encompasses residential, retail, open-air centers, office space, department stores, regional malls and industrial locations. He has managed and developed complex projects in numerous fast-paced markets. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate projects with a successful record of accomplishment. Jason is exceptional at identifying opportunities, building and coaching high performance teams and partnering with key players in environments of rapid change.
Jason's accomplished career includes assembling distressed real estate properties for redevelopment as mixed-use projects, Operating Vice president with Macy's Corporate and Vice President, Development, Design and Construction for several National real estate companies.
Jason has lived in Moraga for the last 12 years. His community interests and activities include: Moraga Planning Commission, Moraga Design Review Board, Kiwanis, Moraga Chamber of Commerce, Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Seniors in Retirement, International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, National Society of Professional Engineers, National Association of Watch and Clock Makers, Diablo Valley Corvette Club, Ducks Unlimited and Pittsburg Yacht Club.

Doug Meyer
Board Member
Doug was raised in Santa Rosa, graduated UC Berkeley with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1988, worked at McDonnell Douglas - Long Beach on the C-17 program, returned to Northern CA in 1995 to work at Precision Castparts in San Leandro until 2009 at which point a career change was needed. He decided to become his own boss and in December of 2010 purchased The UPS Store. He was familiar with the area and had previously lived in Orinda and Lafayette and loved the atmosphere and people. He was very happy to see a store in Lamorinda was available. He currently lives in El Sobrante but look forward to living in Moraga soon.

Doug is married with 4 step children and little boy of his own who is close to 3 years old.

Doug looks forward to any input and actions he may have to further the goals of the Moraga Chamber of Commerce.

Candice Moses
Candice has been in sales for the past 14 years and began her sales career in the hospitality industry selling for hotels in the East Bay that include Holiday Inn, Hilton and Embassy Suites. She has been a Marketing Director for ÁegisLiving for 7 years and is currently the Marketing Director at Áegis of Moraga, a senior living community specializing in retirement, assisted living and memory care. She is a trainer and mentor for other Áegis marketing directors for the Northern California region and was named Marketing Director of the year in 2007 for ÁegisLiving and again in 2010. She enjoys serving seniors and their families of the Lamorinda area. Candice was born in Oakland, California and has spent most of her life in the East Bay Area. She has been married for 31 years and, together with her husband, has raised 3 children. She has served as the past secretary for the Moraga Chamber. Tim Farley
Board Member

    Tim is the Director of Community and Government Relations for Saint Mary’s College of California. In this capacity he is responsible for monitoring all federal and state legislation as it pertains to higher education.  Additionally Mr. Farley handles concerns with the Town of Moraga and surrounding communities.  Prior to his work with Saint Mary’s, Farley was district director to State Assemblymember Joe Caniciamilla and senior staff to State Assemblymember Robert Campbell.

     In 1990, Farley was elected to the Martinez City Council.  At age 30 Farley was one of the youngest elected officials in Contra Costa County. During his eight years on the city council Farley represented  Martinez on several regional boards and commissions. In 1996, Congressman George Miller appointed Farley to the U.S. Presidential Electoral College, where he cast a constitutionally required vote for president of the United States.

      In subsequent years, Farley was a financial advisor specializing in socially responsible investing. He’s also written a public affairs column for the Martinez Record, part of the Bay Area News Group. Tim Farley is a founding member of the Luncheon Society, a public affairs round table.

Board Member
Ellen Beans has lived in Moraga since 1981. Trained to teach elementary school, she has spent most of her life in public service and education. In 2006, she helped launch the first Moraga Community Faire, and has been its coordinator ever since. Ellen also sits on the Board of the Moraga Chamber of Commerce. Since helping to found Moraga Citizens Network in 2005, she has promoted transparency in town government and assisted in getting out information on public meetings to residents. She writes the bi-monthly MCN Link to keep residents informed about Council agenda items, issues, and local events.
